Updated March 7, 2023

Vaccine Information Statements: VISs are sheets developed by the US CDC that detail benefits and risks of a vaccine.  Before a dose of vaccine is administered, US Federal law requires recipient/guardian be provided the relevant VIS.

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Recommendations: ACIP recommendations include the age(s) when a vaccines should be given, the number of doses needed, the amount of time between doses, and precautions and contraindications.

WHO Modules: These online peer-reviewed documents provide information not only about the immunological basis for recommendation of specific vaccines, but also information about the disease and epidemiology.
